Cable Mesh Drapery
Cable Net Systems are designed to prevent rock falls from reaching the roadway or other area being protected.. Cable Net Systems are commonly used in conjunction with double twist wire mesh. Cable net panels can be fabricated using using galvanized or stainless steel cable with diameters of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", or 1/2". Cable can also be PVC coated, powder coated, or painted to a specified color to match the terrain. The mesh opening of the net panels can range from 4" to 12" and can be either a square or diagonal opening. These systems are designed to withstand the static and dynamic forces expected upon the system.
